MetaPhase Consulting Awarded Contract with Department of Agriculture

Reston, VA – MetaPhase Consulting, a rapidly growing government IT and management consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Through this three-year contract, MetaPhase Consulting will provide application operations maintenance and development support for existing Microsoft Power Platform tools previously developed for USDA, as well as development of new business process enhancement applications. These applications were developed to help FAS modernize several key business processes, including ticketing/automation systems for Human Capital Management, signature approvals processes, and staffing management. The program seeks to maintain current applications and processes it has implemented to improve productivity through workflow automation, identify trends to align resources, and implement solutions that provide the proper levels of efficiencies to support the mission. 

FAS links U.S. agriculture to the world to enhance export opportunities and global food security for the expansion and growth of U.S. farmers and ranchers. The FAS Business Operations program area is the operational arm of the agency, with six divisions: Human Capital, Financial Management, Acquisition and Program Management, Budget, Information Technology, and General Services. FAS Business Operations has worked to improve services and efficiency through modernizing business practices and effective use of technology.
